The registration process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main to be held in January 2019 is going to end soon. The last date for online application is 30th September 2018, that is, this Sunday. If you are an engineering aspirant and have not applied yet, do not delay the application any further. Apply as soon as possible for JEE Main Application Form to avoid the last minute rush. Often in the last few years, the official website has been reported to have crashed or exhibited extremely slow response under last minute pressure. There is just a day before application for JEE Main 2019 ends.
This is the first JEE that is being conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). If you have not applied yet, you can complete your registration at nta.ac.in. Visit this official website of NTA and fill up your form in a few easy steps. Go to their website and click on JEE Main 2019. It is highly advised that you go through “Instructions and Procedure for Online Submission of Application Form of JEE (Main) 2019.” Read the Information Bulletin to make sure that you fit the eligibility criteria. Click on the registration link and fill up the application form with your personal details. Click on the Submit button. Make the payment online. You registration is complete. Do not forget to take a print out of your payment receipt and application form. You have to finish this procedure by 11:50 p.m. on 30th September. Everything, including uploading of photograph and signature, has to be completed by this time.
The first set of tests will be conducted from January 6, 2019, to January 20, 2019. The second round of tests will be held within April 7 and April 21 in 2019.You can expect the result of the first JEE Mains by the first week of February 2019. The second JEE Mains result will be declared by the first week of May 2019. The question papers will be in three languages: English, Hindi and Gujarati.
There are a couple of important dates that you might want to keep in mind. Engineering aspirants, make note that the online payment can be made till 11:50 p.m. on October 1, Monday. If you are using online banking, credit card or debit card for payment, you have time till 11:50 p.m. But if you intend to make your payment through e challan, you have time till the bank hours. If you wish to make changes in your application, you can edit the relevant parts from October 8 to October 14, the time slot that NTA has allotted for revisions and edits in your application form. No corrections in particulars of application will be allowed in your registration form under any circumstances after this date.
You can expect your admit cards in December 2018 and the test will be held in January 2019. You can download and print your admit card from NTA’s official website from 17 December 2018 onwards. Your test centre, date and shift of the examination will be indicated in your admit card. You are advised to download your admit cards from the official website only. The admit card does not guarantee admission. It is issued on a provisional basis provided you fit the eligibility criteria.
The application for JEE Main 2019 has to be in online mode only. Any application form which is not in online mode shall not be accepted. A candidate can submit only one application. Please ensure that the email id and the mobile number you provide in your application form are your own. This is of prime importance because all communication sent by NTA will be sent via email to your email address or via SMS to your mobile number. Candidates are advised to keep checking NTA official website for latest updates.
